ooh, you look so sultry, i love this one. when i come to see you next year i'm going to take so many pictures of you- you won't be able to stop me :-) an email's on its way, moon-girl - i've just been out to buy an xmas tree so might have to decorate it first... xox
I'm picturing you driving along and suddenly feeling that creeping inspiration take hold. You slow down in the middle of the dark, lonely countryside, stop the car, get out, walk round to the back of the car, kneel down on the cold damp road and take this... that's what I'm picturing... it's a lovely shot, D. Are you counting down till Christmas? I just came from Sunday Scribbler, tears still in my eyes after having read the post about her sister. I saw your comment there and followed, drawn by what you wrote about your brother, having lost 2 myself.
I've also been published in Mothering and Wemoon. I'd like to check out the Natural Parenting magazine. I got my library to carry Mothering and even though my sons are grown, I still check it out. I used to write for Nurturing, a Mothering type out of Canada but they went bankrupt.
yesterday i was at the gas station in my town and there was a woman who resembled you so much. she was also staring at me, like we knew each other but couldn't place the face.....but it couldn't have been right?
"How can I possibly sleep this moonlit evening? Come, my friends, let's sing and dance all night long. Stretched out, tipsy, under the vast sky: splendid dreams beneath the cherry blossoms. Wild roses, plucked from fields full of croaking frogs: float them in your wine and enjoy every minute." --Ryokan--
