The 7 on your clock looks like an inverted 2 and throws my whole sense of symmetry off- combined with the blurring pendulum I start to really worry about the passing of time. Thank goodness your beautiful children bring me back to the moment and how great it is. (cool angle on the photo with the spoon)

You have the most gorgeous children and the pictures, each one, said a thousand words.

Oh, I love this series! The beautiful children photos, the cozy tea and muffin, the cool reflections in the teakettle, and the passage of time on the clock (is that an antique? it looks it). Really excellent SS post, Delia, and you did it without a single word. Impressive!!

Love these pictures! Your youngest has such a great expression in that one! Funny, I had decided to post every day this month, too, though not just photos. Don't know if I'll make it, but I'm looking forward to trying. Also, I was just reading over your last posts that I'd missed and I'm so glad to hear you've been getting so much writing done! Fabulous.

I see it's not just Mama who has had a haircut - v chic!

It always surprises me how much your littlest one has a look of my X about her. Perhaps it shouldn't surprise me at all...

Your photos fit your writing so well. And there is so much in the silence, I think. For me, it blends together and becomes one thing composed of many things. A feeling. That's what your photos leave with me.
